Who is Ruby Turner

Ruby Turner is a British Jamaican singer and songwriter whose work spans soul, R&B and pop. Born around 1958, she has been active as a vocalist since the 1980s, releasing music under her own name and building a catalogue that moves between contemporary R&B and classic soul influences. She has also worked as an actress alongside her recording career. Her discography includes the early release The Ruby Turner EP (1985), followed by albums such as The Other Side (1991), The Best of Ruby Turner (1992), Restless Moods (1994), Guilty (1996) and Call Me by My Name (1998).
