Who is Paul Jones

Paul Jones (born Paul Pond, c. 1942) is a British singer and harmonica player whose work spans blues rock, rhythm and blues, rock and indie. He first came to prominence as the vocalist and harmonica player with the 1960s group Manfred Mann, with whom he recorded a run of Top Ten hits between 1962 and 1966. Alongside his performing career, he has worked as an actor and broadcaster, presenting The Blues Show on BBC Radio 2 from 1986 to 2018. His recorded output includes the live album Live at Ronnie Scott's (1986), the compilation Original Manfred Mann (2006), and solo releases such as The Andrew Lloyd Webber Songbook (1993), the three-volume Paul Jones Collection series (1999–2003) and Starting All Over Again (2009). He also appears on the 1982 release The Capris Paul Jones George Freeman, part of the La grande storia del rock series.
