2. Purpose of the site

Jazz Live UK is an editorial site dedicated to the culture of jazz, soul, blues and related genres across the UK. Its main services are:

• What's On: a directory of upcoming gigs updated nightly from public sources (venues, festivals, aggregators).
• Magazine: reviews, profiles and editorial guides with our own point of view.
• Musicians directory: a professional catalogue for B2B bookings (private events, weddings, restaurants, venue programming). Jazz Live UK acts as an intermediary and charges the musician a 15% commission only if a booking is confirmed.
• Newsletter: a free weekly bulletin.

Access to the editorial content and the listings is free. The booking intermediation service is free for the contracting clients (the commission is paid by the musician).

3. Terms of use

3.1 Permitted use

Users may view, share and link to the site content for personal, non-commercial use. Industry professionals may cite our editorial content provided the source is credited and a link is given to the original article.

3.2 Prohibited use

The user undertakes NOT to:

• Reproduce or redistribute the original editorial content on other sites without written permission.
• Carry out automated scraping of the musicians directory to build competing databases.
• Impersonate other musicians or professionals when registering in the directory.
• Introduce viruses, malicious code or illegal content into the forms.
• Use the site for purposes contrary to the law, public morals or public order.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All editorial texts (reviews, profiles, guides, magazine articles) are the property of GRE2JAZZ S.L.. The trade names, logos and distinctive signs are protected by the applicable intellectual and industrial property legislation.

The listings data (titles, dates, venues) comes from public sources or is provided by the musicians or venues themselves and belongs to them. Our contribution is the curation, normalisation and presentation.

The images used as editorial covers come from Pexels (a free licence for commercial use with attribution not required) or have been provided voluntarily by the musicians when registering in the directory. If you come across an image of yourself that you did not authorise, write to us and we will remove it within 48 hours.

5. Links to third-party sites

This site contains links to venues, ticket-selling platforms (Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, venues' own sites), social networks (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp) and institutional sites (ICO, etc.).

We accept no responsibility for the content, policies or practices of those sites. Navigating to an external site is done at the user's own risk.

6. Affiliate programme

Some links to ticket purchases go through the Awin affiliate programme (Ticketmaster, Atrápalo, GetYourGuide, Tiqets) or our own programmes (Fever, etc.). This means that if you buy a ticket after clicking one of our links, we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. This commission is what funds the free editorial curation of the magazine and the listings.

Links marked as a paid link in musicians' discographies take you to relevant searches on Amazon UK through the Amazon Associates programme. We may receive a commission from a qualifying purchase, at no extra cost to you.

The commission NEVER influences which events we publish. If Bruno Mars is not jazz, we do not feature him as such even if his commission is higher.

7. Limitation of liability

GRE2JAZZ S.L. takes reasonable measures to ensure the information published is correct, up to date and useful. However:

• We do not guarantee that the listings are 100% accurate. The dates, prices and availability may change; always confirm with the venue before setting off.
• We do not guarantee continuous availability of the site. We may carry out scheduled maintenance or suffer occasional technical outages.
• We accept no responsibility for damage arising from the use of the site or the information published, except in cases where the law imposes such liability on us.
