Art Themen is a British jazz saxophonist, active on the British jazz circuit for over 40 years. Born around 1939, he plays saxophone, clarinet, and tenor saxophone. His style is rooted in post-bop, initially drawing influence from Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins, while also demonstrating an ongoing engagement with contemporary saxophone styles.
