Curtis Stigers is an American vocalist and saxophonist associated with vocal jazz, jazz and blues. Born around 1965, he first gained wide attention in the early 1990s with the single “I Wonder Why” (1991), which reached No. 5 in the UK and No. 9 in the US. His self-titled debut album appeared that same year, followed by a steady run of studio and live recordings. His discography includes *Time Was* (1995), *Baby Plays Around* (2001), *I Think It’s Going to Rain Today* (2004), *Hooray for Love* (2014), *One More for the Road* (2017) and *Songs from my Kitchen, Volume 1* (2025), alongside the compilation *The Best Of 1991-1999* (2005). Stigers performs on saxophone and voice, and his work is documented across major platforms including Wikipedia, Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and Discogs.
