Songwriters in the Round featuring Ken Stead

Three distinctive voices sharing the stories, songs, and inspiration behind their music in an evening of stripped-down performances and musical connection.

Kaiya Kodie is an Edmonton based singer songwriter whose writing weaves together vulnerability and introspection, creating a space of reflection for all listeners.

Amanda Penner (They/She) is a queer folk singer/songwriter who writes songs for nervous drivers, yearners, and introverts. With songs that are cinematic in nature and evocative lyricism similar to vingette style prose, Penner’s music lends itself to the yearners of the world trying to find a soft place to land.

Ken Stead’s unique combination of folk, soul, rock, and blues will be sure to catch your attention but it’s his lyrical and vocal ability to reach you right where you are at that will be sure to create a moment for each person listening.
