Simon Denizart Quartet

With Piece of Mind, pianist and composer Simon Denizart presents a powerful, introspective performance drawing on jazz, classical and electronic influences. Both lyrical and percussive, his piano playing thrives on the dialogue with bass, drums and percussion. Each composition unfolds like a vivid musical scene, moving between delicate melodies, rich harmonies and driving grooves. Featuring music from his fifth album, released on Justin Time Records and now with over 200,000 streams on Spotify, the show has been presented in France, Spain, Germany and South Africa, including performances at Jazz à Juan and Johannesburg’s Joy of Jazz festival. On stage, the musicians’ close rapport brings this evocative music to life, with intricate arrangements that keep emotional expression at their heart.
