Prince Edward County Jazz Festival

Rather than build a festival site, the event borrows the venues the county already has. Concerts are staged at the Regent Theatre and Picton Town Hall, at country inns such as The Waring House, The Royal Hotel and the Claramount Club, and across a string of local wineries including Huff Estates, Sandbanks, Closson Chase, Exultet Estate, The Grange and Stanners Vineyard.

That spread means the festival works as a touring circuit through the county over its six days rather than a single-park event, and it has used unusual settings including Glenwood Cemetery. The programme mixes local players with visiting Canadian and international jazz musicians, and the festival is a member of Jazz Festivals Canada, the national association of jazz presenters.
