Who is Zara McFarlane
Zara McFarlane is a British vocalist, songwriter and composer based in East London. Working primarily in jazz, soul and R&B, she has released five albums under her own name, beginning with *Until Tomorrow* (2011) and including *Arise* (2017) and *East of the River Nile* (2019). Her recorded output also features smaller releases such as *Five Jazz Standards* (2013) and *If You Knew Her* (2013).
McFarlane has received recognition including a MOBO Award, two Jazz FM Awards and an Urban Music Award. Beyond performance, she works as a vocal coach and playwright. Her music is available across major streaming and retail platforms, and she maintains an active online presence through her official website and social media channels.
