Alisdair Hogarth

Alisdair Hogarth (born around 1980) is a British classical pianist. He is best known as the founder and director of The Prince Consort, a vocal ensemble devoted to piano-accompanied song, in which he performs as pianist. His work centres on art song and chamber repertoire, combining his role as accompanist with artistic direction of the group. Hogarth also has a background as a soloist. He made his concerto debut in 1996, aged fifteen, performing with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, in a concert broadcast live on Classic FM. He has since appeared as concerto soloist with various orchestras, including performances on tours in Hungary and the Czech Republic.
