Dave Clark

David Clark (born c. 1942) is an English drummer, percussionist and vocalist. He is best known as the leader, drummer and manager of the 1960s beat group the Dave Clark Five, which was the first British Invasion band to follow the Beatles to the United States in 1964. Clark has also worked as a record producer, songwriter and entrepreneur. In 2008, he and the Dave Clark Five were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
