Who is Pat LaBarbera

Pat LaBarbera is an American-born Canadian jazz saxophonist, clarinetist and flautist, born around 1944 in Mt. Morris, New York. He is associated with hard bop and jazz, and is known for his work as a soloist in Buddy Rich bands from 1967 to 1973. His recorded work includes The Meeting (1979), Standard Transmission (1997), Deep in a Dream (1999), Distant Bells - Mostly Ballads - Remembering Bill Evans (2018) and The Coltrane Sutras (2020).
