Nicole Henry is an American jazz vocalist. Her debut CD, The Nearness of You , received critical acclaim, leading to her recognition as "Best New Jazz Artist" by HMV Japan. Her 2005 album, Teach Me Tonight , reached number one in Japan and was named HMV Japan's Best Vocal Jazz Album. She later won the 2013 Soul Train Music Award for "Best Traditional Jazz Performance".
