What's included — and what isn't
Some of what a Spanish member gets is physical: a discount at a particular room, a ticket to a particular festival. Those depend on agreements with specific venues, and today those agreements are in Spain. We would rather tell you than take your money for something you can't use.

Questions people actually ask
Do I need to be a member to use the listings?
No, and you never will. Every gig, venue and musician page on Jazz Live stays free to read. Membership is what pays for keeping 1,200 listings accurate — it does not buy access to them.
What does the money actually go to?
Running the club: the servers, the daily work of checking listings against venue sources, the newsletter, and the editorial time behind the musician profiles. It is a membership with the terms described here, not a donation.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Member and Patron renew until you cancel from your account, with no minimum term, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Founding Member is a single payment and never renews.
Why are some benefits marked Spain only?
Because they are physical. Venue discounts and festival access depend on agreements with specific rooms, and those exist in Spain today. We would rather say so than sell you something you cannot use. If that changes here, members get it automatically.
Which currency am I charged in?
USD. The amount shown is the amount charged, and you see the total again on the payment page before you confirm.
