Dirty Dozen Brass Band

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band is an American brass band based in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was formed in 1977 by Benny Jones and members of the Tornado Brass Band. The group blends funk and bebop with traditional New Orleans jazz and has been influential in the local music scene. In 2023, it won the Grammy Award for Best American Roots Performance.
