Who is Widespread Panic

Widespread Panic is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia. The current lineup consists of guitarist and vocalist John Bell, bassist Dave Schools, drummer Duane Trucks, percussionist Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz, keyboardist John "JoJo" Hermann, and guitarist Jimmy Herring. The band's original guitarist and sometime composer, Michael Houser, passed away in 2002, while original drummer Todd Nance left in 2016 and passed away in 2020. Widespread Panic's music is characterized by a blend of rock, jam band, and Southern rock styles. The band's sound features a mix of guitars, keyboards, bass, and percussion. They have released numerous albums, including "Space Wrangler" (1988), "Widespread Panic" (1991), and "Dirty Side Down" (2010). Their music is available on various platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
