Pedrito Martinez

Pedrito Martinez is a Cuban percussionist, singer and songwriter, born around 1973 and raised in Havana. He works primarily in Latin jazz, with a foundation in classic Cuban rumba and Afro-Cuban folkloric traditions. His verified instruments include percussion, voice, drum kit, batá drum, cajón and conga. Martinez learned his craft on the streets of Havana before relocating to the United States in 1998.
