Who is Marcus Printup

Marcus Printup (born approximately 1967) is an American jazz trumpeter. He attended the University of North Florida's Jazz Studies program and has worked with Betty Carter, Wynton Marsalis, the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and Tim Hagans. In 1993 he became a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by Wynton Marsalis. His music is associated with jazz and post-bop. His releases include Song for the Beautiful Woman (1995), Unveiled (1996), Nocturnal Traces (1998), HubSongs (1998), The New Boogaloo (2002), Jam Session, Vol. 25 (2008), and Gentle Rain (2020).
