NYC Winter Jazzfest
NYC Winter Jazzfest is a multi-day club festival held every January across venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Its signature format is the marathon: one pass, dozens of sets, several rooms within walking distance of each other.

The festival is built around club-hopping rather than a single site. Individually ticketed shows open the week, followed by marathon nights - one in Manhattan, one in Brooklyn - in which pass holders move between neighboring venues over the course of an evening. That format has made it the winter meeting point for the New York scene and for touring musicians who would otherwise not overlap in the same city.
Each edition is organized around a stated theme, and recent editions have centered on Black American music, its lineage and its present. The 2026 edition, the 22nd, ran January 8-13; the following edition is announced for January 12-18, 2027. Because the festival is spread across working clubs rather than a festival ground, its listings behave like a dense week of club dates rather than a single event.
