The festival was established in 2010 and is held at the Iroquois Amphitheater, the outdoor venue in Iroquois Park that has been part of Louisville's cultural life since 1938. The 2026 edition ran on August 7 and 8. Tickets are sold through the amphitheater box office, the Better Days East record store, IroquoisAmphitheater.com and Ticketmaster.
The booking is squarely contemporary: the 2026 Friday featured Boney James, Avery Sunshine and Marcus Miller in his Louisville debut, and Saturday featured Brian Culbertson, Lindsey Webster and Marion Meadows. It is a concert-format festival rather than a multi-stage site, so anyone expecting a park full of stages should read it as two headline evenings instead.
