The festival is organized by the City of Toledo and splits across two riverfront sites: a Friday evening concert at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater and a full Saturday of music at the Glass City Metropark pavilion overlooking the Maumee River, running from early afternoon into the night. Admission to the Saturday program is free, with reserved seating available for purchase for those who want it.
2026 was the fifth annual edition, which makes it the newest of Ohio's four established jazz festivals and the only one on the state's northwestern corner. Alongside the music the site carries food trucks, vendors and family activities, and its position at a recently redeveloped metropark is part of the city's use of the festival to draw people back to the riverfront.
