Door County Jazz Festival
The Door County Jazz Festival moves up the Door Peninsula over six days of free concerts, town by town. The second annual edition ran August 3-8, 2026.

- Sturgeon Bay
- Where
- Door County, Wisconsin
- When
- Early August
The festival is run by the Door County Jazz Foundation, Inc. and is unusual in having no fixed home: each evening is hosted by a different peninsula community, with Harborside Park in Ephraim, Noble Square in Fish Creek, the Waterfront Pavilion in Sister Bay and the Bjorklunden campus in Baileys Harbor, before the week finishes with daytime concerts at Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay. All programming is free, funded by donations and local sponsors.
The 2026 program was organized around the centenaries of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Tony Bennett, and drew heavily on Wisconsin and Chicago musicians: the Aaron Hedenstrom Quintet, Mitchell Shiner's Latin Vibes, the Milwaukee Jazz Institute Quintet with Brian Lynch, and singers Aubrey Johnson, Alyssa Allgood and Paul Marinaro. A documentary screening opened the week and poetry readings curated by Write on Door County ran between sets. As a second-year festival its shape is still settling.
