Membership terms

These terms govern membership of the club offered by GRE2JAZZ S.L. on this site. They are short on purpose: read them before you join, and keep a copy. Nothing here limits the rights that consumer law where you live gives you.

2. What membership is

Membership pays for the work of keeping these listings accurate and growing. It does not buy access to them: every show, venue and musician page stays free for everyone, member or not. It is a paid service with the terms set out here, not a donation.

What comes with it in the UK:

• A member badge on your account.
• For Founding Members, membership for life from a single payment, and — only if you tell us you want it — your name on the founders wall.

What does not come with it here. Discounts at venues, festival tickets and any other in-person benefit depend on agreements with individual venues, and we have none in the UK yet. If we sign some, existing members get them at no extra cost.

3. Membership levels and prices

• Member: £42 a year or £4.20 a month. It renews automatically until you cancel.
• Patron: £109 a year or £10.90 a month. It renews automatically until you cancel.
• Founding Member: £85, paid once. It never renews.

The price that applies is the one shown when you join. It is the total you pay.

4. Payment and automatic renewal

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. You enter your card details on Stripe's page; they never reach us.

• Member and Patron are charged when you join and then at the start of every new month or year, depending on the option you chose, automatically, until you cancel. By joining you authorise those charges.
• Founding Member is charged once and never again.
• If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may try again for a short time. If it still fails, the membership ends.
• If we change a price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, so that you can cancel first.

5. Cancelling

There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from your account, with the “Manage membership” button: it opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can also change your card and see your invoices. If you prefer, email info@clubgre2jazz.com from the address you joined with, and we stop the renewal and confirm it by email.

Cancelling stops future charges. You keep your membership until the end of the period you have already paid for; that period is not refunded in part, except as described in section 6.

6. Your 14-day refund

You can change your mind within 14 days of joining, without giving a reason, and we refund everything you paid — on every level, including Founding Member — to the same card, within 14 days of your message. This is your legal right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; we simply do not deduct anything for the days you were already a member.

Just email info@clubgre2jazz.com saying you want to cancel and get a refund. You can use the model form at the end of this page, but you do not have to.

After those 14 days, amounts already charged are not refundable, except as set out in section 7.

7. If the benefits change

Membership may evolve, and we may adjust what comes with it within reason. If a change significantly reduces what you signed up for, we will tell you, and you can cancel and get back the part of your payment you have not used yet.

8. Your account

Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Give us accurate details and keep your password to yourself. If an account is used fraudulently, we may end its membership without a refund.

9. Personal information

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. To run your membership we keep your level, how you pay, the amounts, the dates and Stripe's reference numbers; your card details stay with Stripe.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to members, we will email you before it applies, and you can cancel if you disagree. The version in force is the one on this page, identified by its date and version number.

11. Questions and complaints

Write to info@clubgre2jazz.com. If we cannot sort it out between us, you can get free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. That choice does not take away any protection that the mandatory consumer law of the place where you live gives you, and you can bring a claim in the courts where that law allows it.

13. How you accept these terms

When you choose a level on the membership page — where a link to these terms sits next to the buttons, together with the automatic renewal notice — and complete the payment on Stripe, you agree to these terms. The version that applies to you is the one published on the day you join. Ask us and we will send you a copy.
