Trumpeter Klara Devlin brings her quartet to the Vortex for a late-night set of originals and arrangements rooted in bebop, blues and free jazz – part of Laura Jurd’s Miles Davis centenary series. A BBC Young Jazz Musician finalist, Devlin leads a sharp young rhythm section through material that nods to Davis while sounding thoroughly contemporary.
